Fred Alexander: A Tribute, 6, 1988.

Brian de Garis (ed.)

Professor Fred Alexander (1899-1996) was the founding Head of the Department of History. The Discipline of History has an endowment fund named in his honor, established from the donations of friends and alumni. This fund sponsors regular visits by leading international and Australian academics, to pursue research and give some lectures in the Department for a period of four to six weeks.
